When I heard from central county director last they have enough entries to award 3 crowns which is at least 12 so maybe numbers aren't so bad (at central anyway). We should be getting emails with contestant numbers in the next few days she said.
I just wish there was not so much pessimism on this board at times. This system has really helped my shy introverted daughter come into herself.
And although I do not pay big bucks for competition gowns I do not fault anyone who does because we all want our daughters to have their best chance at winning. If I had disposable income I would be paying big $$ for wardrobe also.

The reality of it is, if you're a girl and has competed for 5 years, only 5 girls will win the title of miss ky... odds are it won't be you. I encourage everyone to give it there all at some point. 00:02:54 10/17/13 Thu
