Dan, I am 6ft 4in or so and I have been playing the Nova's since 2014. I am 63 now and still improving my game. I highly recommend these clubs, to anybody. No complaints, just results.

Big Ed

Daniel, if you haven't already done so, I'd order a set of these. Coincidently, I'm 6'6" tall and also fairly recently retired. I'm also bothered with some serious back issues. The one length Nova hybrid irons were just what I needed. Ball striking improved immediately and brought scoring down 7-10 shots per round. They were fairly easy to adjust to. Unfortunately, I've recently had some additional back issues which have kept me from playing for a few months. I still am fairly confident that a trip or two to the range will get me back to where I was. These clubs are very easy to hit well.
