- Wedges? -- Hugh C, 22:08:35 04/09/13 Tue [-1]
Is there any plan to develop wedges(GW,SW,LW)as it seems more sensible to hit short shots with a full swing rather than try to improvise with other clubs to hit those distances.

- Club fitting hybrid irons -- Michael Jurek, 15:46:08 05/14/13 Tue [1]
Do you still send in the measurements to be fitted for the hybrid irons? Also down the road when needing regrips would I send you my hybrid irons?
I totally like the idea of one swing for all my clubs. I play in a league and fall somewhere in the middle, would love to drop 8 to 10 strokes.
Also noticed the demo set of hybrids for sale but no info on RH or LH. Should I be fitted for them?
Thanks,

" I am 82 years old and have playing golf for over 50 years. I had wrist surgery last August, and while I was healing I came across the Nova hybrid irons. I was a little skeptical. I talked several times with Ron Davis, and I finally ordered in October. I just wanted to report that these irons are the best set of clubs I have ever played! I was always a 9-handicap but as I got older that number went up to the high teens. Now I am almost back to a 9 and I owe it all to the Nova's. Great product Ron, suggest anyone who is struggling due to age or health issues try them. Best new design out there.

I came across these hybrid irons on-line and decided to take a chance. I have to admit I was skeptical. After a few months playing the Nova's I am almost back to what my game was before the surgery! The ease in which I can hit these irons is incredible. The stress on my joints is minimal, and my doctor wanted to know my secret. Fellows, take my advice give these Nova's a try and you will never look back.

A couple of trips to the range and the light bulb went off. Now at the course I am turning heads. Confidence sky high and scores started to drop instantly. What a find , cannot go wrong.

I purchased a used-demo set of irons which were delivered yesterday. Great service!! I got to thinking about it and not only did I save $200 by buying the used-demos but I also saved $62 in sales tax Great price!!
They may be used-demos but they look practically brand new to me. The biggest thing is how they hit the ball off the club-face with hardly no mishits out of a full bucket of balls. I'm guessing that every iron is about 3 to 5 yards farther than my Callaways and straight where I'm aiming.

67 y.o., 6'4", 37" f to w, 14 index, 30yr recreational golf. Been fit over a dozen times over the past years. Never felt comfortable with irons. Last fit was at the manufacturer in Arizona. Even tried 1 IRONS but the steel shafts were too heavy. Told David Lake if you ever have graphite shafts I would be interested. Wah Lah! Nova irons. Love these irons! I can handle the weight and the variable-lie sole allows the clubs to fit my swing and different lies. I use the distances from Dave Tutelman's article on "Constant-Length Irons". They are so accurate; I taped the yardages on each shaft so I can see them from the bag. I play on a difficult mountain course with small greens; several elevated. I would pay a premium for a NOVA GW 52*. I know it's an uphill battle bucking the established thinking, but the word need to get out about how good these irons are for the "average golfer". Thanks.....

I have had my Nova's for a couple of months. What really jumps out about these clubs is the accuracy I have developed in my game. I have been playing golf since retiring 5 years ago. I tried to buy a game originally and as usual I found out that you cannot. Researched the Nova's online, purchased them and really started to enjoy golf! I used to loose several balls on the course, now I rarely loose balls and have dropped my handicap under 20. These really do improve your game, as well as save money by not buying balls every other week.
Thanks Gria

After two rounds the clubs help me keep the ball in the center of the fairway and straight at the pin. I suspect that my score will start to come down real soon, short game will need work. Great clubs, that make playing fun again. Thanks, Gria.

- Hitting from long rough -- Fred Atkins, 18:35:21 05/20/12 Sun [1]
I’ve had my Novas for 2 months and love them. Scores came down 8-12 strokes consistently. However, now that our course has greened up, I find that Novas are VERY hard to hit out of long rough (our rough is the depth of a ball—about 1 ¼”). I think it’s for 2 reasons: 1.) the sweeping swing enters the grass 5 or 6 inches behind the ball as opposed to about an inch with a traditional iron hitting down, 2.) there is much more surface area on the sole that creates additional drag. The club head really gets hung up in the grass, rather than pushing through it, like a hybrid wood does. I actually pulled a muscle in my wrist hitting out of some long grass. The same problems exist when chipping from long grass around the greens. You get a bunch of grass between the clubface and the ball. The only solution I know is to not hit it in the rough, but since that’s not possible, I now carry a traditional 8 iron to hack it out of long rough.
I also find them less forgiving on very closely mowed fairways. If you hit even a little behind the ball, the bounce in the club head deflects the club up, causing a skulled shot.
Nonetheless, I am sticking with them. They are definitely longer and straighter and easier to hit.

I am 54 years old and was in the market for some new clubs. A friend recommended going to a pro shop and try out the newest irons. My experience was was very uncomfortable. The "pro" was more concerned about selling me the most expensive clubs, without even asking about my fit, and feel. I left frustrated and disgusted. I found the Gria web site and decided to take advantage of the 30 trial. The customer service was very personable and there was no pressure to purchase. I ordered a set of Nova's and I must tell you, I was able to go to the range and after several trips, the concept clicked! Very easy to hit and my confidence is sky high. I would recommend this company and these irons to any one.
Thank You
