Subject: short game

I am former 1iron player. Now getting accustomed to my Novas. I have not yet figured out the best way to use the Novas for my short game. With my 1irons I never choked down on the club. I used my LW for pitch shots and my 8 iron for most chips. I used a center ball position.

I am trying this approach with the Novas but using the slightly forward ball position. What approach is working for your short game with Novas? I am interested in what is working best for everyone.

Jerry, The feedback I have been getting back from players is from 30 yards and in they have been using an elongated putting stroke. For beyond 30 yards a lot of the players use a 1/2 or 3/4 swing with a left of center ball position. Try this approach at the range.
