I heard somewhere the the actor who played Willie Oleson and Melissa Gilbert are Brother and Sister. Is this true? (Very curious) They look alot a like in the younger episodes.

Yes, it's true. However Jonathan and Melissa Gilbert are brother and sister through adoption. Both were adopted by the Gilbert's, Sara Gilbert (Roseanne) is their sister (the Gilbert's biological daughter).

she is right i heard the same thing. They are real brother and sister but through adoption. Also the girl who played Darlnee on Roseann the older tv show is is her sister.

Is that right? I heard that Mellisa and Jonathan share the same father but have different mothers. Married twice I heard. I didn't know they were adopted. Ya think ya know stuff and there goes that theory. LOL

I may be totally wrong, but don't they and Sara Gilbert share the same mother? Maybe their stepfather (Sara's Dad) adopted them after he met their mother. This would make sense, but I may be totally off on this one. It's been so long since I saw the Bio on Melissa Gilbert.
