Subject: Newest covers

Has anyone bought the LHOP books with the newest covers? They are very nice looking (though I enjoy my old yellow cover copies.)

The new covers of the Laura books remind me of romance novels. I don't see where they look like covers for little kids. But they are nice but I like the other ones better.

Now that you mention it Jennie, the new covers do remind me of the covers on romance novels. I do think they're very nice. Haven't bought any of them yet, I'll really have to justify a purchase as a nice reward to myself sometime;) (especially since i already have 1 set of hardcovers and 2.5 sets of paperbacks).

Go to harpercollins.com and do a Search of Laura Ingalls Wilder. It should bring up the books with new covers first.

Aren't these the ones with no pictures? Not the same!!! Bring back the pictures.

The covers have pictures, but I don't know about inside the books. I've seen them only on the internet, not in a book store. I'd certainly want pictures inside as well as on the covers!

Yeah when I was in a bookstore last I saw these books and there was no pictures in the books. Now whats up with that? If the books are more directed towards kids they need pictures. It helps them to understand the story better. But I miss the old books picture they were cute pictures.
