I bet Laura would have been appalled at many of the storylines, but also pleased at how the show helped to generate so much interest in her books.

There are so many but I think the later years more. How about that she taught not only when she was married (a no in those times) but she was pregnant too. In those days you didn't talk about pregnancy never mind flaunt it (if want to call it that) in front of a room full of students.
