Subject: The new LHOP covers

Has anyone seen the LHOP with the new covers in the store. I went to the local Borders, but they didn't have them. I was curious to see the illusrations inside the book.
The set I have (or what's left of it, and is really my daughter's, but it's at my house) is the old yellow ones, plain, no checkerboard. I comb through used book stores to try to replace a couple of the books. One is torn apart and one is missing. I like the old plain yellow ones, as that's what I first saw, but I would like to check out the new ones.

Ann, I copy/pasted Kellie's link in the thread below on this page and that is the only place I have seen the new covers. I like them MUCH better than the checkerboard covers, but I do agree with you in that I like the yellow covers MUCH better. Have you tried to search for them through bookfinder.com?

I checked the link and have seen the covers, but I was wondering if anyone has seen the books in the stores to check out the illustrations inside the books. I'm assuming they have black and white drawings as the older books do, but by the same artist who did the new covers, and I'm curious as to what they are like.
I think the new covers look more like the TV show (especially Ma), but that the "new" Laura also looks more like pictures of the real Laura.
