Ann, how about his leather jacket, hanging right up in the front closet (where it's been for years on end, and he's always managed to find it before), or even better, HIS CELL PHONE!!!! How many times have I had to call his phone to see if someone had found it and was waiting for the owner to call and claim it? And then what do we hear but the RINGING OF THE CELL PHONE COMING FROM HIS LEATHER JACKET POCKET!!!!!! No, I'm not bitter. No siree. Grrrrr. Men.

LOL!!! It happens to me on a daily basis - so my poor tired brain can't even come up with an answer! Now I always tell him, "If I get up and go *wherever* and it is right THERE you are BUSTED!" He now cowers in fear I know! Last night it was the fingernail clippers. I told him EXACTLY where they were - he searched the drawer - couldn't find them - swore to me they weren't there and I misplaced them - and of course you know the ending - I walked to the drawer, moved ONE pencil and voila! Ahoy matey!

My husband is "blind" frequently too. It must be inborn because my son earlier asked where one of his toys was and I told him to look for it before asking. He actually found it. There are plenty times though he can't find it and it's right where I told him to look.(I know this happens with all kids but I think it's worse with sons)
