Jennifer -- Kim, 15:07:04 01/03/03 Fri
Nope, I checked and that is the name of the town. Must be a VERY small suburb. I will check my e-mail in a sec and see if there is anything from you. And if there was anything from Delilah, I would likely fall over in a dead faint. Haven't had anything in my inbox from her in MONTHS, although we did get a Christmas card in the mail, and that was great! :) Mrs. Firth is a busy woman, I know.
No itinerary for CA yet. Has Miz Smith told you what my hubby gave me for Christmas?! In March I am going to England. This may cut our California trip-budget a little short! S'okay .... haven't been back to the UK in years. I'm willing to sacrifice a little!

Whoops! -- Kim, 16:54:28 01/03/03 Fri
I just carefully re-read my post where I named the town. Only this time I realized my left pinky finger accidentally typed an extra 'a' on the town's name! It's Castaic, no 'a' on the end! (Gimme a break, eh .... who around here can spell and pronounce Okotoks and Etobicoke????!!!! LisaE who lives in the NOTL area doesn't count. She does know.)

Well it must be a small suburb because I have never heard of it (like I am the LA know-it-all!) Anyhoo - haven't conversed with Miz Smith lately - I think she has fallen off the face of the earth

Jennifer re: Ireland -- Kim, 14:53:34 01/04/03 Sat
I know, I know. You, Kellie and I had this grand trip all mapped out (thank you for the pub songs, btw), but when my hubby found out that my genealogical research was going to take me to Belfast, my word, he put his foot down and said No way, things had to settle down substantially there before I made a trip to Northern Ireland. And I said, How can I possibly help it that my ancestors were ship builders in Belfast???? To which he answered, Lie and say they were ship builders in Glasgow.
Wrong country, dear. Completely wrong country. So close, but So Far Away.
