I ahve to admit that I kinda liked this movie too. Maybe because I wasn't expecting it to be too realistic. I have to admit that it didn't dawn on me that they should've been using a hack. I did notice that they weren't traveling with the Coolies though. Also, I thought that after Almanzo he had diptheria he walked with a limp the rest of his life. He seemed to walk fine in the movie. It may have been harder doing this one because they didn't have a little house book to base it on. When it started my husband said the name of they movie and I said it was part 2. He said"I missed the first part?" I told him it was on 2 years ago.
One thing that bugged me was in my copy of TV guide it had an ad that said starring Richard Thomas. What was he in for, maybe 5 minutes?(and when he was dying he didn't look too old)
