I could hardly wait to see what was posted today about the movie. You guys have been relatively tame! I guess after the last one, we were all prepared for the inaccuracies in this one. I watched it with my mom, step-dad, and husband. Throughout the whole movie, they kept asking me "Is that true?". Laura would have been shocked at the scene of them undressing when they decided to buy Rocky Ridge! It was just like the scene from the first movie by the chimney on their wedding day. UGH! This is 1894 people! Does the movie industry really think they have to throw in a hint of gratuitous sex in a movie based on the story of a children's writer's life in the late 1800's? I don't get why they think its necessary. The target audience is anyone interested in Laura. We're not morons.
O.K. I'm off my soapbox about the movie. I did tape it. However, I ran out of tape the last 10 min. I'm not that upset. I did enjoy it from an entertainment perspective. Some of the drama and really blatant stuff just got to me.

I remeber something else I told my husband. The women seemed to have a lot of clothes for back then. It seemed that they had a new outfit each day where in real life the wore the some one every day and maybe changed their apron. At the most they only had a few outfits and while traveling they probably wouldn'r have changed unless it was wash day. Also, they didn't show Rose getting all upset when she was asked about the $100 that was missing.

My mother made a comment about the amount of clothes too! I also noticed Laura didn't question Rose about the money.

I couldn't wait to check all your reactions to the film, this morning. Your comments are all very interesing and what I expected after the first film. I don't know when we'll get it over here (UK) hope it's not too long. I'm still looking forward to seeing it.
