I have a prayer request for you all. I realize that there are a
couple of names in my address book who I don't know, and they
likely don't know me, but it won't hurt you one bit to pray for
this family.

Michele and Allen Burke are a married couple in our church who
we've befriended. They have 2 daughters, ages 9 and 6, and a son
who is 5 months old. Their 6 year old daughter has Cystic
Fibrosis, her name is Jenna. Their other daughter, Amanda, is
healthy.
Today, Michele called us from the childrens' hospital in
Knoxville to inform us that they are testing the 5 month old,
named Jared, for a condition called "Ataxia". They also have
diagnosed him with Nystagmus, which is an eye condition that
results in vision impairments. The Ataxia, however, is far worse
than the Nystagmus, as it is a form of Muscular Dystrophy.
Please remember this family in your prayers. We have become
quite close to them, so it is hitting home for us as well.
