Received word this morning regarding Jared, and it is much worse than originally thought. He was tested for the Ataxia, and the results were negative. The doctor called in a team of childrens' specialists, and another round of tests were performed. He has been diagnosed with cancer of the central nervous system. Don't know anything about prognosis at this point, Alan and Michelle are taking the news extremely hard. Please get this out to as many prayer groups and other Christians as you can, and "storm the gates of heaven" with
prayers.
Parents: Alan and Michelle Burke
Sick child: Jared Burke, 5 months old
Siblings: Amanda, age 9, and Jenna, age 6 (Jenna has
Cystic Fibrosis)
Hospital: University of Tennessee Childrens' Hospital,
Knoxville

Leisa and I will be going over to the hospital this
afternoon. I will be printing out the replies from the earlier
request for prayer to show Alan and Michelle that they are not
walking through this alone.
