Good analysis, but a few quibbles. Our PL champ, playoff bound team played 3 Ivies this year who all had losing records in IL play (6-15 cumulatively). We lost by 24 points to Princeton, who was 2-5 in Ivy League play. Our only win in 3 Ivy games was against Cornell (1-9) by a TD. I disagree that playing Ivies diminishes Colgate's football brand. And playing Lafayette (outscored 82-7 in 2 games with Ivy teams this year) and Georgetown doesn't?? Ivy football is getting stronger. I also disagree that we should demand home and home with Ivies - this in fact is why Ivy opponents are getting more scarce on future schedules. We should be delighted to play say Harvard and Penn on the road only and allow Boston and Philly alums a chance to see the team.
