i was at the game. At the macro level I am very disappointed. By this time scholarships should be elevating our program, but they are not. At some positions we have very good and have skilled players, but it is not consistent. We lack depth as illustrated by our poor performance in 4th Qtrs, when players begin to tire.
Our offensive line is not the dominant line we are accustomed to and that has been a hallmark of Colgate football. Other than the HC game they have not been able to dictate terms. I like our backs, but they need a hole.
Today Princeton threw 80% (I guess) at one DB. With an important season injury to Bridgeforth, we are left vulnerable. No depth.
Princeton is good but not great. They have little chance against Harvard or maybe Dartmouth, IMO.
I am not pointing figures at anyone. But we have to do a better job in recruiting. And we need, more depth.
Other notes. Bowman has lost his confidence. Until he get it back we should not be looking at getting a field goal. Russell is a great asset. After getting edged by Holland, he steps up..
This is not what we should be aiming at. scholarships are supposed to raise this program PAST the level of the Princetons of the world.

You must have a coaching staff that knows what it is doing!!! if you gave this team to joe moorehead & staff(FU coach) or rob sgarlata (gtown coach & staff) they would win the PL title and do well OOC
