Perhaps, she reasoned, it was best not to ask any more about that particular infamous killer. "Artistic, yes..." she says. "I wish I knew whom I carved."
Instead of speaking further, she follows his instructions and turns her attention once more to the flames before her. Holding out a paw again to capture the enrgy, she finds it considerably easier now than it was before. Her eyes snap wide in surprise and she drops it accidentally.
Cursing under her breath, she reaches out again, forcing herself to concentrate, and the energy comes to her paw. Not a huge amount, but a decent 'chunk' of it. Wispy golden tendrils trail from her claws and are absorbed into a medium sized, spherical glow of light. Gently dropping her paw, she lets it hang in midair, held only by her will. She is surprised once again at her success, but refuses to let it get in her way. The golden energy ball hovers, occasionally moving a little to one side or the other.
