The black male flows to his paws, eyes narrowing to mere slits. He'd been concentrating so fully on teaching and healing that he had unintentionally 'retracted' his senses. With reckless fury, he throws his mind forth, westward, and what he perceives chills him to the bone. "Wureshi," he hisses, ears laying flat against a suddenly aching skull. He had been controlling his pain as well as healing his wounds, and now there was no time for such luxuries. Without a word to Noni, rage burning in his chest, Atumi vanishes.

Tew manages to stagger upright and make his way over to Noni, pain lining his every movement. "If you think you can fight, then go west. If not, go to the clearing and guard the cubs," he mutters, all jovialty gone from his blue eyes. Tew himself is too injured to do much... but taking his own advice, he heads for the clearing.
