Subject: Castle vs JAG PTSD

Been re-watching Castle and got to S4. I love how well they handled Kate's PTSD weaving it through out the season. Showing her going to therapy on a regular basis.

Wish JAG had done that with Mac's PTSD instead of only giving us one show with her therapist. She had been through a very traumatic event and they hardly focused on it but once or twice. The season would have been so much better if they had handled it more like Castle did.

I love that they've shown Kate realizing that she needs help, and going through with it, fighting for it, even though it was hard. She was willing to put in the work, both for herself, and for their future together. (NT) -- Colie, 11:27:25 07/16/12 Mon
- It gives the character so much more depth and gives us a much better understanding of what she is going through. Wish we had seen Rick going to shrink as it had to cause him issue watching her literally die in front of him. That isn't something you don't get over quickly or ever.
