Do we have JAGPTSD? No matter what show we watch that has ahipper possibility (Bones, Castle, etc.) we end up mentioning JAG and hoping we are not let down again. The season ender -- Code, 12:54:29 05/14/13 Tue [8]
After sleeping on it, I am okay with the episode, kinda knew what was coming at the end.

I think if you take 'Still' out of the season and leave with what we have had you can see the pattern of Castle backing off all the way back to Hunt. Its minor but its there that he is slowly taking her for granted and that she has started things. Castles brithday being the one big thing she did for him that he showed appreciation for.

I think the final she stepped back and decided to look at her life and ponder where she wanted to go at 33. She knows her moms killer, she has reached a point in her job that she is maxing out at unless she promotes up and loses the part of the job she loves, she has a man in her life that she loves but he isnt showing interest in more. She reverts back to the part of her that she understands and knows. The closed off Beckett. I did like that she went to her girlfriend and dad for advice. Both gave her opinions and at the end of the day she went with the one that has always been there, the Job. Castle has been there but her job has been there longer.

At least Castle said he would follow her and that he wants more. I see her not saying no, but not yet and as a JAG fan I HATE THAT. I think that they will take a step back and then by mid season commit and be a stronger pair. At least that is how I would write it.

And I love Martha.

We got a great season of fun and romance, and yet still some angst. I have no idea what will happen next but I have no worries that there will be another Webb, Vukovic, or Jordon et al, though there might be other passing interests. Given the last few promos that ABC spliced together that put them at odds with each other in contrast to the actual episodes where there was no huge personal conflict, I don't trust previews anymore! I have more faith in the writers of this show than almost any other, and while conflict will come a move to DC for her if she would choose it wouldn't be a deal breaker for him. He can write from anywhere and if he wants to stay at his new York place she's a hour commuter flight away. Big deal!

- I saw the CTV promo and it looked better than the US one. I see them having a heavy discussion on where they are going and us being left with what were the answers for the summer. I dont think that we will find out if she leaves or not till Sept along with how their relationship fares.   - I just can't see why if seperate they would still work together don't forget Castle is not a cop. If have a falling out with the person you are in love with why keep working with them if don't have too. An episode or two of issues is about all I want need them happy and having fun and teasing. - After seeing the scene released yesterday I can see where Castle is getting semi-pissed. I dont think that its the new job but that she is keeping things from him and going back to its my life. I am not saying that Castle isnt innocent because of his stunt of running off to Paris alone but I also think that going to save yorur daughter trumps job interview. I can see her taking teh job but coming back in an ep or 2 in S6 as if the summer has passed and she rethinks the job. Her and Castle have to reair their relationship because Gates let him stay on and follow the boys. I can now see where Squab needed to be after this episode. I know, I know its supposed to be a stand alone but my mind while drifting off came up with this.... Kate had at least 5 minutes of alone time, again to ponder her death and what the consequences of it might be, and during that time she realized that there was more that she wanted from life ie more with her relationship and where her future was going. So we get Squab where Castle seems to see things as status quo and she needs reasurance that things are going forward.

I loved loved Captain Gates, she was great and I would really like to know when she figured it out.

Also did Javi look a little puffy in this ep?

- I agree it made Kate re-evaluate what she wants out of life but Squab still felt to quick and that she was that unsure or ever unsure about Castle’s commitment when he is willing to die with you. Sure you wonder what comes next but to be so unsure with the rich guy felt wrong. Would have been better served with her talking to Lanie about what she was feeling. Just needed more build up to her feeling that uncertain especially after this episode at least to me. Maybe if she had tried to talk to Castle and he didn’t want to then maybe can see it. I have to say that as a fan I was highly dissappointed with last nights Episode. IN all honesty, the show was on and I muted half of it and another quater was spent watching Revolution.

I feel that there no lead up to this 'where are we going', 'you dont appreciated me enough' and Becketts interest in another man. I get that yes they are heading somewhere but why make it this angst filled not needed episode?

I am hoping that "Still" will have the shipper scenes we are used to and hopefully fill a void for why we got last night.

Any other opinions?

- Hi. New here. Stana is on record that airing out of order is going to set up confusion. My problem with Kate? She's kick-a** as a cop. But she really dosn't think she's 'good enough' to keep Rick interested. So she listens to others about any problems in the relationship. The CIA lady made her worry about Rick. And then last night, the rich guy made her start wondering as well. Note to writers: This is stupid! Kate Beckett knows she's hot. - I love the touchy, feely, kissing scenes but hard when not alone to do those things since Gates isn't suppose to know they are together and not an environment to do it in.         You make sense and true she should be happy he wants to know her. But maybe she felt he wouldn't open up to her or let her in so was a one sided relationship. To me more an excuse she tells herself as to why cheated. Did she ever try and get to know him more like he did her? Also what struck me is he knew all these things about her but never wrote a book about her but has already written 4 about Kate. I feel she was jealous so planted this seed in her head. This episode was simply amazing; I'm not sure I still have enough words for it yet. I thought they handled the issues at hand absolutely perfectly!

There was so much worry among fans particularly with Kate possibly believing he may have cheated, and the implications it may have on their relationship - and yet we get to see our favorite couple stronger than ever, sticking together instead of divided, the full extent of their trust and belief in each other.

The scene where she finds him in the library, and runs into his arms was so strong, so loving, and one of my very favorites though definitely not the only one.

I also loved the many different small things twined throughout the episode that are important moments from episodes previous, the first time she cuffed him and the breaking out of prison etc.

What are your thoughts, what were your favorite moments?

So Beckett´s that kind of company, huh? LOL! Oh Ryan, love ya. Really. But Esposito clueless? We´re supposed to believe that? Lanie soooo knows, too, or at least suspects. Now they can safely bring Demming back for an episode or so. I kinda liked him (well except for going after Beckett, but since he´s now dating a detective from Vice.....). Oh, and C+B are now officially Caskett, right?

- I am loving every episode. I laughed out loud over Casket. I don't mind the interruptions because you know they are together, unlike H and M where the interruptions were frustrating and long term. I know they said in some interview that Alexis wouldn´t really react to C+Bs relationship at first, because her father has had many girlfriends, but that she´s have to acknowledge it at some point later on, still it all felt disjointed, somehow. And then the dolls..seriously, there was so no need to smash them, anything that was in there had a way of going in, so there was a way of getting it out again. - There were SO many good one liners...getting soft, seen your stuff, grammatical error, it went on and on which really made the episode so enjoyable. The handshake scene was so touching and you could see their minds creating a great image. I really wasn't bothered by Alexis' reaction. She was so busy getting ready to go to scholl and that father/daughter talk at the end brought tears to my eyes. She loves her dad. No monsters under the bed...so cute. - Hmm, I didn´t really see him fighting her off though...sure, he was evading a bit, but at no point did he put his foot down and said, "no,I don´t want this, please leave." Now I really don´t like this kind of sexual predatory behavior either, but I wouldn´t go as far as calling it assault, not in case of a man doing it, either. - Hang on there, Castle did not say no at any time. He kept making excuses, but all he had to do was say, "Not intersted.". Let's face it, it could have stopped had he said no to the date in the first place, like Beckett wanted him to. - It was amaaaaazing; I stopped breathing about halfway through when Beckett went BAMF and whoa! I loved how she turned it around, took matters into her own hands. And I most loved her progression - this woman who now does her job for her own reasons, who took matters into her own hands, *and* who now allows herself to be vulnerable with and comforted by Castle. Castle S1 Thoughts -- Hope, 10:43:11 08/20/12 Mon [2]
Just finished re-watching S1 of Castle.

Forgot how Castle really was like a 9 yr on a sugar rush. Touching everything and not taking things to seriously. At the beginning he really didn't get the gravity of the murder s for him almost like he wasn't seeing it as real more like what he would write in a book.

But as it goes along you see him change and realize not a game. He sees how it affects Beckett and how much compassion she has for the victims. Feels like he comes to realize helping to give closure to the families.

I am glad we see him interact with Alexis and Martha during this time or he would have come off a just a playboy who took nothing seriously.

They did a nice job with his growth and the parallel to Alexis growing up.

Loved seeing the beginning of the banter and the theory building. Beckett was always attracted to him but she would never have thought of dating him as he still had a big ego and didn’t take things seriously enough. Watching this all unfold and see how they both changed is so much fun and just makes you realize how great a love story it is.

When she Kate tell him about her mom and dad want to scream don’t investigate. Never would have thought how big the conspiracy was going to become.

This has to be one of the worst written articles. Basically saying Castle can't be faithful. I mean really have you seen the show. He has never been shown to cheat and hasn't even been in a relationship since middle S3 just waiting for Kate.

So we are suppose to think right after getting together he would possibly cheat.

These sites trying to draw people in need to actually watch a show and know a character before writing an article.

Does sound like might get some jealous Beckett and can see Castle all flustered trying to get away from this woman. Since relationship will be a secret he can't just say he is taken.

Castle/Beckett Relationship Moving Forward -- Hope -feeling pensive tonight, 22:36:07 07/31/12 Tue [4]
Tonight just feeling apprehensive about the relationship and what might happen as the show goes on.
It is still amazing to me they are actually letting them be a couple but for how long. That is what worries me.
But then I wonder how the show could go on if they broke up. The show is about them solving crimes together. But since Castle is not required to be there why would he stay if they weren’t together. On other shows leads usually work together and it is their job, like on JAG. But not in this case.

Castle has shown the reason he stays is her. We saw that at the end of S4 it doesn’t work if conflict between them. So how do they keep the show going if they aren’t working together? This is what keeps me not freaking out thinking the show just doesn’t work if they break up as no reason for Castle to be at the precinct. Also fact that I am sure would lose a ton of the audience. I would probably stop watching.

I just wonder though how they will deal with them being together as don’t see Gates letting them work out in the field together if she knows. So how long can they keep it a secret? Also since Castle somewhat of a celebrity they can’t go public with it if don’t want Gates to know. So that means she can’t be his date at a launch party or any other function. That seems like it would get old after a while.

The other worry then is because in relationship will they have less of them working together. Maybe he won’t go to busts anymore or into the field that often. This was one of the things I didn’t like about S4 much less of them working together. Not as much theory building or even interrogating suspects. That is some of the best parts of the series. I love S3 as there is so much of this.

So these are just my ramblings of worry about what will happen. I think JAG has made me jaded and maybe just the fact so many shows don’t want to get the lead together out of fear.
