Subject: I think as long as they keep the "flirty banter" going as you said, it will be fun to watch. This makes me think of Smallville. Inside

I think their flirty banter will translate well to them in a relationship. Looking forward to new episodes so we can get some conversations going." on 17:45:42 07/09/12 Mon

Smallville had a 10 year run (like another one of our favorite shows), but Lois didn't come along until the beginning of season 4. After FIVE years, Lois and Clark finally "got together" early in season 9, so almost two full seasons played out with them as a couple. IMO, some of the best eps were during those two years. Now, I realize that they had WAY more issues to work out than your average TV couple (the whole super powers/secret identity thing), but I think that one of the biggest reasons that it continued to work so well with them together was their "flirty banter".

All that to say that I KNOW it can be done because I've SEEN it done, and done well, I might add.

I'm really looking forward to the next season of Castle. I have WAY more faith in Andrew Marlowe than I do (did) in Hart Hanson (Bones). Bones had this same potential, then they ruined it, IMO.
