A wicked grin appears on the sculpted ebon muzzle and with a practiced, effortless kick, the black lands in the middle of his students. "The first thing you need to learn is how to learn. Blacks are renowned not only for our grace and precision, but for our minds. And I'll warn you now, stripeds -- I'm considering you of black, otherwise you would not have been assigned to me. Once I'm done tweaking your brains, the physical training will be simperingly easy for you." Atumi retains the ivory-fanged grin as he meets each Korat's gaze. "Now tell me. Who does not know the written Kalash alphabet?"

Jeggi mutes a groan, but emerald eyes remain on her instructor. She knows the alphabet well enough; it's a simple system of phonetic symbols, incredibly easy to learn and easy for a clawed beast with any dexterity at all to write. So she stays silent and attentive, ears flicking when needed, and keeping watch on ell'tho.
