I'm sure everything is going to be okay Max. I think your brother and your father just need time to chill. I don't know you guys but I know when I get mad at my parents I need time to cool off sometimes. It really helps. I think it will help your brother too.

I guess I should say who I am. I'm Sean, Taylor, Kevin and Shannons cousin. I'm 11 and I'm in the 6th grade. I have a 12 year old sister Rachael. We are staying at our cousins this weekend. Maybe we can post here after we go back home and we can talk to each other.

Youths just get to burning sometimes. Rage is not alien to young men, especially when they feel they are not receiving the respect to which they are due. I think this is simply part of what it means to reach the teen years for many people. Situations like this are part of the reason why so many people just phase out paddling at this age. I am sorry to hear about this situation and I hope Marcus and your father can get to a better understanding soon.
