I don't really have a problem with people asking questions. If I don't want to anwer them the I won't.

I don't mind sharing that I sort of brought this subject up to the moderator. I had an adult respond to my thread about skipping school and getting busted. I felt he asked some inappropriate things about my paddling at home. I attempted to answer him but it was a bit disrespectful and I thank the moderator for not posting it.

I think Sean and Nathan both present great solutions.

Yes, Sean, just don't answer the inquiry. Nathan, you are right, it is different coming from kid to kid. Now, I think it is OK for adults to "talk" to us here but there are certain lines that should not be crossed.

My answer is this though. I think if we as a poster give "details" that is our business as long as it is appropriate to the rules of this forum. But since not all members here have Sean's or Nathan's insight to know what to answer and what not then I think posts asking for personal details such as state of pants, redness, pain level, and even crying should be left unapproved. Kids, tell what you are comfortable telling, again, within form rules. But I think once a post is made that is all of the details that are needed. No one else should ask for information. Sure we should be supportive and can relate a similar situation from our life.

If kid A wants to merely say, "I got a spanking." Leave it alone as that is all the detail he/she wants to give.

If kid B wants to say, "I sneaked out of the house and went to a party and got caught. My dad bared my bottom and gave me 15 licks with a belt. It hurt really bad and I was real red and cried a lot." OK, he/she obviously feels more comfortable with details but that was his/her choice. But still leave it alone as far as more details.

So, my short answer: no, they should not be approved.
