To all parents and caregivers that read this site:

A few of you have expressed an interest in a parents/caregivers-only forum in addition to this and the original site. I addressed this in another post that I now reproduce below. Your feedback is welcome and appreciated.

Several of you have expressed an interest in a parents/caregivers-only forum. I had intended the original forum (www.voy.com/204228/) to be that kind of forum. I established this forum with tighter controls to create a safe environment where both kids AND parents/caregivers could post. For items that were more sensitive or more germane to parents only - the original forum exists. I understand that some parents are also uncomfortable sorting through content on that original site that they find objectionable.

If there is sufficient interest, I suppose I could start a site similar to this one but intended for parents/caregivers only. As with this site, it would be an open forum that anyone could read and we will not have the features of some forums that require membership and an email address but allow for private messages, real-time chat, file sharing, etc.

To other parents: Would this kind of site be of interest to you? Do you think a site other than the two that currently exist would be beneficial? What rules or parameters should be established for the moderation of that site?

I'd welcome your feedback either as a public post or you may mark it "Don't post" if you would like to comment privately. You may also correspond with me via email using the link at the top of the forum.

Kids: Please let your parents know of this post in case they have any interest or input.

Based on feedback that I have received both here, via email, and on the other forum. I will by the middle of next week establish a parent/caregiver forum on the voy forums service. As I indicated this will be an open forum (anyone may read the posts) but no membership is required to post. Likewise this forum hosting site does NOT allow for private messages, chat, etc.

I will post a link on this site and the other Spank With Love forum site once the new forum is up and running.

This is exciting and wonderful news, indeed!

I look forward to the establishment of this Parents Forum, Sir! I do hope that there will not be an intrusion of those who are not truly parents, or posters with inappropriate topics. If the site is "clean," it will be a true resource for parents!

Thanks so very much for your willingness to extend yourself on behalf of the Parents that will use this site!
