To the extent that I recognise I have a problem with the f word and have even self-reported its use, and yes, I am slowly controlling it. It has also been a good thing in our family. I was only introduced when I was 13 because groundings were making everyone mad, leading to rows, further groundings and unhappiness all round. I think, though, at my age, I sort of know what to do and not to do and so "violations" are usually willful on my part. When I am contemplating breaking a rule, I do sometimes think about the fact of punishment and that does sometimes stop me, and, so yes, it helps. But, I guess, now, a spanking is more of a punishment for me and a way of getting rid of guilt. (See my 3 P theory.) [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
