Eileen, I totally remember your family. I was 2 years behind you and graduated in 1974. I have an older brother, Michael, 2 sisters, Maryellen (now age 50 ) and Christine age 52. I remember you were on my bus and were nice to me.
I also remember riding my bike over near your house (if i'm right there was a cool street that you could ride down a big driveway and go behind houses and up the other side onto the next street. I remember my friends and I rode really fast and it was the best place to ride. I also recall that you had long hair (lightish) and were pretty.
I also had Ms. Santangelo and Sr. Hildeguarde, who was ugly and mean. She hated my brother. Carolyn Chieco

Hi Carolyn: If you were two years behind me then you went to school with my brother Brian, or my sister Kathleen. Your memory about the community driveways is correct, there were two. One ran between 56/57 (the length of my house which faced 57th St) and the other between 57 & 58 (two big hills to ride up & down on). The neighborhood kids use to "sleigh" ride (mostly cardboard boxes or garbage pail covers) down these hills in the winter months.
It was kind of you to say pretty, yes I had long light brown hair and did ride the bus (when I could manager to catch it). I got on the bus at Glenwood & Ralph and for the life of me cannot remember where I got off the bus. Where did you live? I am trying to recall your face. I was only really nice to kids that were nice. I had a habit of giving bullies a hard time, so you must have been a nice kid. Write when you can. Take care.

>>I lived on East 52nd b/w H and I. I was one of the nice kids who did well in school I was best friends with Chrissie Resta and my sister was friends with her sister Patti. I had (have) long brown straight hair and brown eyes(now green). I had bad buck teeth up until the 6th grade when I got braces. The D'Amico's lived by me until about the 8th grade.

Eileen!
We were in the same classes!!! I left in the 7th grade because my family moved to Florida. Oh my gosh! I had one of Sr. Hildegarde's "dry shampoo's" because I forgot my em=nglish assignment. I remember Miss Santangelo, also.
I found a class picture...
