Subject: Umm, yeah, pageantry is a business. If you really care about it, you would understand the rule and the reason for it. You want audience members to enter the pageant and tell their friends and family to enter the pageant. Anyone you refer to Miss All-American Princess Queen of the 4th Night of September or whatever else is one less girl who is competing in YOUR pageant

In reply to: 's message, "Banning crowns and sashes from other systems is ridiculous. Pageantry is a fading sport - how do we expect to grow the industry if we are showing in our actions that we don't actually care about women's empowerment; we're showing we care about system/business empowerment." on 14:06:29 04/06/26 Mon

Which is RIDICULOUS. If you only care about women joining YOUR program - you don't care about empowering women in pageantry. You care about your business making money. Both can be true when there are millions of women involved, and not every system is for every woman. My state systems enacted bans on each other's crowns and sashes in photos and at pageants, and engagement in every single system is down. Maybe if we all encouraged women to do the best pageant for them instead of MY pageant, everyone would succeed more. (NT)No name
