 In a sickening betrayal of public trust, former Gettysburg mayor Chad Carr used his roles as a community leader and director for the Miss Gettysburg Scholarship organization, a local for the Miss Pennsylvania scholarship organization to methodically groom and violate youth. His brief, three-month mayoral stint ended in disgrace as victims emerged, detailing a decade-long pattern of using theater programs and summer camps as hunting grounds. Carr allegedly ignored repeated pleas of "no" while committing heinous sexual assaults and soliciting explicit photos from teenagers.

Even after fleeing to Texas to escape the fallout, the disgraced official was apprehended by authorities following a wave of brave testimonies. The addition of his ties to the Miss America circuit highlights a stomach-turning level of access to vulnerable young people, whom he allegedly manipulated with alcohol and false mentorship. Now facing charges of sexual assault and the corruption of minors, Carr stands as a vile predator who weaponized every ounce of his local influence to destroy lives.

It just keeps getting worse for the Miss Pennsylvania organization. Is anyone going to address anything that’s happening?

I did not know that the former Gettysburg Mayor was running that local. On the Miss PA website it just lists that local as "canceled" but does not give any contact info. (NT)No name
