Were there any runners up? I can't believe in this age of social media, we have to depend on word of mouth for results. The official Miss RI Instagram is still filled with the former queen with only a line in the bio linking to the new Miss. You go to the new Mia's profile and at least she has a video of her crowning. But how is there so little information? I competed in the south and I remember after crowning, there was literally a press conference. This was back in the late 90's. I understand there is no press conference these days (except maybe in TX), but the least directors can do is update with the new winner's picture or something on the official social media pages. And if the ED's can't do that, have the former queen do it. They ALL post their final goodbye on social media after crowning. Have them post the new winner and runners-up or video of the announcement -- Pageant Guru Message Board
