Well it looks to me, now that the previous poster noted, the Miss Rhode Island folks wanted to have an early party as its more of a 90th year Miss Rhode Island pageant anniversary than one for 100 since the first Miss RI at Miss Americawas Marianne Ranallo Grasso (1935). Those before 1935 were city entrants at Atlantic City.

    Most here are worried totally wondering who were the runners-up to Miss Rhode Island 2026, but I am also curious as the posters above as to why this state pageantcelebrated a 100th year anniversary last week when its only been 90 years??
