Subject: I saw a "hidden camera" video of Gretchen when she was Miss A and she was absolutely gracious to some guy who seemed to REALLY needed some grace at that moment (I guess it was an actor and teh whole thing was a setup, but still) so I feel that I "saw" her in an unguarded moment. Otherwise, I can't stand her haha But I always go back to that unguarded moment and I appreciate The person that I saw. I am humbled by the person I saw in that unguarded moment. Carry on.

According to her book, it seems like she encountered a lot of jealousy on her way to Miss America. Everyone handles that differently. Some people don't let it get to them, some people become aloof and withdrawn. Maybe that was her situatipn. (NT)No name
