 3/5 of the Top 5 had never competed at Miss AZ before. They were kind, well-rounded and VERY PREPARED to take the title. Tiffany and Sorrin have made a great impact on the organization and were deserving of their top 2 spots. All of the top five brought it! Celine has consistently made Top 5, but was outperformed this year. NOBODY at the competition was surprised that Mimi Hymel didn’t make the five, but everyone was surprised that she made Top 10. She has been horrible to other contestants for years and rides on sponsorships she can provide due to her families status—not talent, kindness, or integrity. Mimi WALKED OUT after not making the Top 5. Not a nice girl and definitely not representative of the values of the MAO. EVERY girl in the top 5 was deserving and as always there was some great local titleholders who did not make the cut. To say that the state is a joke, is silly and clearly coming from a disgruntled, sour girl or family member.
