Subject: I found it very interesting that they made a big deal in recognizing Nancy and Mark as the executive directors of Miss VA. Didn't they even have the judges come up on stage to announce they were giving a scholarship in honor of the directors? I wondered what that was all about because it seemed like a bit of overkill after what has been said about the Virginia situation here.

In reply to: In VA and beyond 's message, "You are correct as there will be more volunteers leaving. New leadership is working overtime to give the impression that everything is big and better when in reality, it has never been more sad. They lost some incredible people who would never have left unless things weren't dire. One in particular, Dr. Nancy Dye who owns the home where they have hosted a welcome dinner for years. She was on the board and her exit should speak volumes as to the truth of all that has come to light. The path new leadership took to get rid of many who left was deliberate. And those who resigned and left on their own accord were never contacted to ask why or try to convince them to come back. They only want to surround themselves with people who fall in line and agree without discussion. It is one sided and in no way serves the purpose and traditions of what Miss America once was. Any state having struggles such as this do not need to go swept under the rug. Keep talking and looking for answers." on 13:33:49 07/12/25 Sat

It was all orchestrated by the board members to deflect. It was very obvious and not genuine at all and a big show. (NT)….
