Subject: Miss universe system has been bought and sold multiple times. It is not a nonprofit. That is how Trump bought it years ago. He sold it due to pressure related to his derogatory comments about Latinos during his first presidential campaign. Telemundo was the driving force behind that. So, surely, the pageant can be sold again. Trump wanted to buy MAO decades ago, but, was told it was a nonprofit and could not be sold. Don’t know how that fact changed to make a sale possible a few years ago, but, it was sold for the first time ever.
