Subject: It also depends on the individual. Whatever their particular " parenting style", many silver spoons kids grow up entitled and selfish and just as many grow up kind and making a difference in the world. Plus, no one really knows that the younger Sam was "Silver Spooned." It could have been the exact opposite. Just because you come from family money does not mean you are spoiled rotten.

In reply to: 's message, "I do not think that anyone should take cheap shots at the Haskells over this. It is beyond comprehension that someone would even think of committing these heinous crimes. Evil is not always an abstract concept, and I do believe the only alternative explanation would require a new school of psychotherapy. I can only imagine that for a narcissistic type like Sam III, this was devastating on a variety of levels. It's going to be hard for anyone to think of that family and not think of that horrific crime. I wouldn't want to live under that stigma, and neither would anyone reading this. I confess my memories of Sammy's downfall with MAO have faded, but I do know he was a pretty flawed leader in his latter years. The actions of his nearly 40-year-old son are not a part of that saga." on 05:52:49 08/03/25 Sun
