Subject: Is anyone following the lawsuits with Thom (Miss USA) and Will (Texas director)? I see they are posting videos and I am behind on what is going on. I know there have been multiple lawsuits with that Thom guy but have not seen any info on this one other than them making videos and having a back and forth in comments. I thought there was a standstill and lawsuit from miss Universe so I am confused how state pageants are happening. Subject Author Date I don't understand all of the legalities, but my interpretation from watching both videos is that the TX director is wanting documents from MUO that states Thom has authority to collect fees and control state pageants and Thom saying it is illegal for him to provide it. I think the TX director said they were provided documentation assigning Thom as interim director for 2025, but they have been provided nothing for 2026. Thom has provided non-MUO agreements to the state directors. Also there has been no clarification as to whether Miss USA will have a spot at Miss Universe.
