First off, I would think if you are an organization that depends upon donations you should be more transparent as to why the original winner was disqualified. If she was in the wrong, make it known so others will know that you have to abide by the rules. The way this was handled makes the NY organization look shady. It almost looks like they didn't get who they wanted, so they took measures to make that happen. Also, what is up with this whole "crowning" re-enactment? It's unfortunate that she missed her crowning moment, but sometimes that's the way the cookie crumbles. At least she's going to Miss America How did they get all of the runner ups to come back and play "Pageant?" It seems like a lot of frivolous expense.
