Teens in Action Scholarship Awards set for Miss America's Teen pageant
ORLANDO, FLORIDA---Saturday, August 30, 2025 –
The Miss America Organization is proud to reintroduce its iconic Quality of Life Awards at this year’s national competition, once again honoring the remarkable community service of our 52 brand ambassadors representing all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
This year’s finalists will be reviewed and selected by a distinguished panel of professionals with deep experience in philanthropy, community service leadership, and civic engagement:
Mrs. Lora Drasner, Ms. Danielle Garno, Mr. Steven Knobel, Ms. Missy Pool and Ms. Audrey Brown.
Their collective expertise ensures a thoughtful and rigorous evaluation of each Delegate’s impact, innovation, and personal commitment to service. The Miss America Organization is grateful for their dedication to celebrating the next generation of changemakers.
Also returning to the national stage are the Teens in Action Awards, celebrating the inspiring service initiatives of our Teen Delegates.
Both awards debuted with a dynamic new format: in addition to submitting a written application, Delegates recorded a 60-second video, giving voice to the passion, purpose, and personal impact behind their work. These powerful stories highlight Miss America’s role as one of the most influential community service organizations for young women in the world today.
The Miss America Organization remains committed to celebrating leadership, scholarship, and service. These awards continue to shine a national spotlight on the extraordinary young women whose dedication is transforming communities and inspiring a brighter future.
The 2025 Miss America Quality of Life Scholarship Awards:
Winner – $10,000
1st Runner-Up – $5,000
2nd Runner-Up – $2,500
The semi-finalists will be announced during the Arrival Ceremony on Monday, September 1. Final scholarship recipients will be revealed on-stage during the Miss America Preliminary Competition on Wednesday, September 3.
The 2025 Teens in Action Scholarship Awards:
Winner – $3,000
1st Runner-Up – $2,000
2nd Runner-Up – $1,000
Teen finalists and the award winner will be announced on-stage during the Miss America's Teen Preliminary Competition on Tuesday, September 2.
Well, this news should provoke a full week's worth of predictions on this message board on who will be nominated and be the eventual winners. When was the last time there was a Quality of Life award for platform work presented and who won it (bonus---who were the runners-up)?
