Subject: Technically... if they use traditional Miss America final ballot scoring, the girl with the highest score wins. The judges do rank the girls & each position represents a score. There She Is= 10 pts; 1RU= 5pts; 2RU= 3pts; 3RU= 2pts; 4RU=1pt. Add up all those scores & the girl with the most points is Miss America! BUT, I get your point. All (prelim) scores are thrown out for Finals. It's a clean slate for competing in front of the new judges with fresh eyes who haven't seen them. Top 5 scorers tonight are the Finalists. The final question for T5 (topic- MAO) 'informs' their final ballot decision (but isn't scored).
