The pageant telecast does not share info on any of the delegates. Does Cassie want to be a professional performer? If so, why has she spent the last few years doing pageants? How will that help her goal?

Barely anyone saw the pageant. The general Public does not even realize that a new Miss America has been crowned Robin and Company have not been successful in high profile bookings for their winners.

One year from now, Cassie will be on the edge of 30. Unfortunately, for female performers, it is tougher to make it. Kate and Leanza are two examples of performers who hid their Miss America status to pursue their careers. Unlike Cassie, both of them were crowned in the 90s when tens of millions of people watched them crowned on TV.

What was the reason Cassie wanted to be so focused on pageants?

Cassie's dream was to be Miss America. You would discover this if you have social media other than this board. It was Susan Akin's dream to be Miss America. It was Jennifer Berry's dream to be Miss America. Those are just two I know of who admitted it was their ultimate dream. I'm sure there are more, even those who were convinced to enter for scholarships. In fact, I think that is what Rebecca King admitted. Believe it or not there are still young women who dream of being Miss America, in fact I witnessed one on social media this week who said she wanted to win Miss America. Their paths are all different and perhaps we'll find out Cassie's path during her reign. Just be patient. (NT)No name

It's so interesting to me that ever since her crowning, people on here have been trying to minimize her win with questions like this. Sure, it comes across as inquisitive but it sounds quite demeaning and insulting when you actually read it. Why did Abbie want to be Miss America? Why did Madison? Seems to me there are people who have a problem with Cassie, either because of her age or because it's sour grapes that their girl didn't win or both. These types of questions aren't as clever at covering that up as you think. They're just passive aggressive (NT)No name

She also has successfully been a professional performer for years. It is possible to do two things at once. Also, from what I hear, many professional opportunities are already sprouting for her from the entertainment professionals who saw her talent. (NT)No name

Being Miss America did not work in Vanessa’s career goals either. She said it hurt her career especially in the music industry. (NT)No name
