NH is older and wears a hi jab. I think that is fine for gown but covering the entire body for swim is another thing. The ladies who are going to USA have worked very hard for their bodies and are physically fit to wear a swim. How can anyone judge fitness when she covers everything up. She was top 5 in NY this year. I am just curious what your opinions are? I personally don't think any judge can see fitness with that. You are free to believe in your religion, but at Miss USA? I already have a problem with 40 yr olds competing in a MISS pageant.

Why are you so worried about someone covering their body? It's her body and her choice and she is doing what she wants because of her religion and following her faith, there'd nothing shameful in that. Maybe open your mind to other cultures and backgrounds, which is something that pageantry promotes. (NT)No name

My mind is open enough. I don't think they should do USA though because they can't follow the rules. (NT)No name

On Wikipedia, it says that Mona is from Concord NH. Is that true? (NT)No name
