PA has the outgoing titleholder wear the Miss PA jeweler's crown. I think it is such a special tradition! (NT)No name

Do any former state titleholders have advice for how to build traditions for the sisterhood? (NT)No name

Colorado used to have a special crown too, not sure if they still use it but my favorite tradition comes from Miss West Virginia and the outgoing places a handkerchief at the end of the runway or stage for the next young lady. Thy also receive a box with jewelry handed down from titleholders from years past. Very sweet. to watch outgoing place the handkerchief and newly crowned queen pick it up representing the carrying of the torch. (NT)Wish more had traditions like this!
