Subject Author Date Interesting to hear your thoughts on Tawny's runner-ups. I personally was super non-aligned with the judging in that pageant. My Top 3 out of the Top 10 all missed the Top 5... Mary Ellen Richardson of Texas, Cynthia Carpenter of Massachusetts, and Ann Schmalzried of Florida. Of the actual Top 5, I'd have gone with Arizona's Stacey Petersen, but she's in the bottom 3 of my personal winners. The remaining 5 semifinalist were 5 of the most bland, boring, semifinalist I have ever seen. With maybe the exception of South Carolina, the rest virtually disappeared on stage.
