Almost agree with you fully here. I think (in no order) it’ll be Wingard, Addo-Yobo, Burke, Sudderth and obviously Matlock. Addo-yobo is strong,she just needs a bit of polishing. Same with Burke. Wingard is so beautiful and seems to improve each year. Matlock does well each year and swept prelims. Sudderth is stunning facially and electrifying in talent. ....Very interesting analysis and quite detailed with measured thoughtfulness on your selections......would not be surprised if you got eight of the top ten, as you know each year there are bound to be one or two surprise semi-finalists. One thing that would have been better was to list those legacy parents by their maiden names that pageant fans would know them as. I know that 4 of the top 5 are back, but I don't think most of them will be in the top 5 again. Different judges, different year, different girl. There are some GREAT new titleholders that the poster above overlooked for by only watching returning ladies. Please go check out Miss Sam Houston, Miss Lake Highland, Miss Denton, and Miss Piney Woods, and Miss McKinney. I predict a couple of these will replace some of the top 5. Talent alone for these ladies should put them in top 10. (NT) No name

2 of last year’s judges had close ties to the mattock family. Hopefully Texas picks neutral judges this year. I was very surprised at some of matlocks placements, which made more sense after learning about the conflict of interest with 2 of the judges. (NT) No name

Yeah, yeah, yeah. We heard the same thing when her aunt competed along with lies about her aunt. I competed with her aunt and she was the sweetest, down to earth contestant who deserved her win at TX and placement at Miss America. I say the same about Madison. I don't know Madison personally, but from experience, I know the Matlocks bring out the worst in jealous rivals so I don't even give it a consideration.
