Subject: I get your point, but there were photos, newspaper clips, etc, of the first Miss Madison pageant in 1926, won by Dorothy Seiler. A quick Google search confirms it.

They never claimed that there have been 100 Miss Madison winners. It is well known that for many years there was not a Miss Madison competiton. It was the 100th year since the first Miss Madison had been crowned. (NT)No name
