...Pioma told me a story once... I was six, she had just taken me- so it was before the mindset of her current host body kicked in.
She told me about three brothers living together in a small cabin, alone in the woods. The eldest brother was strong, bold, filled with courage. The middle brother was wise, well read, well traveled, and with an amazingly quick wit.
The youngest of the three seemed unblessed by any of those traits. He was frail, timid, and never seemed to understand anything that his brothers were speaking about.
The three brothers would sometimes go into town, and help the people there with any problems that might trouble them.
The eldest would say, 'Let me drive away troublesome beasts, catch your thieves, and protect your women.'
The middle would say, 'Let me sort your logic, plan your homes, and predict the harvesting times.'
The youngest, not being one to do that sort of thing, simply said, 'Let me listen.'
People came from all over the world to tell their troubles to the youngest brother. He didn't usually have an answer, but he listened nonetheless. He heard of minor troubles, of deep wounds to the heart, of angers, and of joys.
When the three brothers grew old, the deities of the world appeared before them. 'You shall be reborn,' they said, 'because your hearts and intentions were pure.'
'I will be a bear!' Said the eldest. He returned to life as a large beast, which was then driven away by the peoples of the towns.
'I will be an owl!' Said the middle. He returned as an owl, and was caught and imprisoned in a small cage to please his captor.
The youngest thought about his choice long and hard, before saying 'I wish to return as something that could help people. There are so many things wrong in the world, and I want to help make them right.'
The deity, touched by the speech, decided that the youngest brother should be returned as a guardian to the world. He came back as a demi-deity, who would appear to people when they needed someone to listen. Because of the younger brother, the people of that world were all much happier. Just knowing that someone was there for them was more than enough.
When the citizens asked, 'Why did you stay for us?'
He would respond, 'My mission in life is to listen. I will not leave until I have heard the problems of all that exist.'
His brothers saw him from where they were in hiding, and decided what they would do with their lives. When their little brother needed to talk, they were there for him.
That planet is among the most peaceful in the known universe.

Basically, my point is that either way you look at it, the Winds are going to be happy. They helped a lot of people. If they don't come back as you remember them, they'll be given positions as Guardians to help people that can't help themselves.
If they do, it will be because they have things to finish. They'll be happy, so you should be happy for them.
~+~*It was rather unusual to hear Kiyoshi talk that long, even more so to hear him trying to comfort someone.*~+~
