Author: Perhaps some of the statues could be transferred somewhere else. The change would complement the new municipal hall.......Just an opinion.
Subject: We need to improve the plaza or the place where these sundials are located if we want to lure tourists to come and see the sundials. With the new municipal hall being constructed where the old market used to be, perhaps we could also do some improvements to the plaza since it is only a few steps to the new municipal hall. Our plaza is very small but I believe we can make it look a lot bigger. Hiring a good architect with some experience/exposure abroad or at least an architect who has seen the way plazas are designed abroad could be a good thing. I think we have so many unnecessary concrete and non concrete structures at our plaza (i.e. fences, flower boxes, statues, etc.). It looks a little tacky for a lot of people. Maybe we could change the landscaping totally. A plaza with an open lawn with more trees and with simple decorative accessories properly place at the right places would be a welcome change.

  • we can restore back the original plaza we had long long time ago. that multi purpose covered gymnasium could be in a wider space like that of the new mall. There would be more parking spaces, more spacious gym area.and could even use for regional sports events. Saan a bale nga rebbaen tayon dayta nga gymn ta nausar met ti mano nga tawenen ken maysa pay saan nga nasyaat ti ventilation na. Malaguip ko pay daydi Antonio Luna statue diay plaza idi. Nagbattitan la ngarud ta plaza tay idin pinabattit da ket la uray langan. This with due respect to those who envisioned this structure at that time. (NT) -- Alfredo J. Somera, Sat, Jun 07 2014
  • ket no pinatakderan met nganim iti SAS daydi sangkabassit nga open space dita laud na. No ngay koma gatangen laeng iti munisipiyo ta saan sa met nga maususar dagita nga building. The town needs that space more than SAS I think. (NT) -- taga Tagudin, Sat, Jun 07 2014
