Filipinos need to take a long and hard look at who they are choosing to lead them for the next three to six years. We have been electing celebrities, entertainers, and relatives of past and present politicians who are totally unfit for public service. Filipinos start to send a clear message to the ballot box and prevent unqualified candidates from ever holding public office. OFW’s it’s your move, tell the folks back home to vote wisely. Filipinos would rather sell their votes just to put food on the table. This has been practiced ever since I was back home. I saw leaders distributing P5.00 pesos before election day in barrio Las-ud way back in the late 50’s. Well if we keep doing it there is a saying that "There are no tyrants where there are no slaves". -- Community Forum
