Subject: There were no major flaws in the design

if only it wouldn't rust at all ... or recover all by itself after an accident (maybe through the use of temperature memory metals?!;)

The doors got very hard to open in the winter though, and sometimes wouldnt stay closed (my drivers door opened wide by itself once on a right turn).

In addition to a faster rack or a shorter gear lever travel, less weight would have been nice too (something like 700-800kg, yea, I know I'm dreaming) together with a direct 5th gear, like the newer bmw's have. Detachable rear wings, like the front ones, foldable rear seats maybe (contradictory demands, I know) and 300hp/ton for the stock M10 318i too. Ah, and something like 3 l/100km consumption if possible. Teleport device included with the car??(to send the car to the garage when you are to lazy to move it yourself), stealth technology for police radars, cameleon colour changing (or even shape shifting) and the possibility to avoid all driver's serious mistakes or missjudgements. Unstealable.
